Midwifery

Our Midwives are nurses that have continued on for additional education to become specialists trained in normal Obstetrics & Gynecology. They are fully licensed by State and National certifying examinations, and are certified by the American College of Nurse Midwives. They provide pregnancy and gynecologic care and can write prescriptions.

They are committed to providing you with comprehensive prenatal care that addresses your physical, social, spiritual and emotional needs and desires. They provide personalized labor support during this most intimate life experience, whether you choose to labor naturally or with the assistance of epidural anesthesia. The midwives can also order pain and other medications as needed.

Sonogram

We have sonographers available full time in our office for your convenience for obstetrical sonograms, as well as gynecological sonograms. We are accredited by the American Institute of Ultrasound and Medicine for excellence in performing sonograms.

Blood Work

Boro Park OB/GYN saves you time with the convenience of our on-site laboratory services. Staffed by our own pathologists, our lab perfroms blood tests, pap smears, and other testing with fast results for faster treatment.

Urodynamics

As many as seventy percent of women suffer from problems with urine leakage or incontinence sof us to five years before telling their doctor. This can lead to long term damage and require surgery to repair. If you are experiencing any symptoms of incontinence, be sure to ask your doctor about urodynamic testing that can quickly pinpoint the problem and help us choose the right treatment.

Bone Density

Our new low-dose Bone Dexa Scan is an advanced bone density test that can determine if you have osteoporosis or are at risk of developing the disease in the future. We suggest all patients over the age of 50 test their bone density. Ask for more information.

Umbilical Cord Blood Donation

Please inquire about our Gift of Life cord blood collection program. Save your baby's umbilical cord blood for free, and you may help save someone's life! We have gift of life coordinators on site to discuss this amazing option with you.

Pre-Marriage Consult

Getting married? Congratulations! Come in for a prenuptial consult to discuss any questions or concerns before the big day. It is common for women to consult with an OB/GYN prior to their wedding for many different reasons. One of them being that the prospect of having children is on the horizon and every woman wants to find the doctor that she will be able to rely upon when the time comes. Whether it is controlling your menstrual cycle or just some words of advice, our doctors are here to make tying the knot more effortless than picking out china.

Menopause Consult

Menopause is a natural part of aging.  It is often called the “change of life” and marks the transition between a woman’s childbearing years and her non-childbearing years. During a period known as “perimenopause,” estrogen production declines and women often develop irregular periods, hot flashes, mood swings and fatigue.
